The music of Martynas Bialobžeskis seems to fall under four broad categories: academic, theatre, electronic club music, and search for a specific sound, with none of them taking the lead. These different areas of composition often interact thus blurring the established boundaries of some particular genre or style. Bialobžeskis began fusing the academic and popular music as early as in his academy years, as an author of music and lyrics he has collaborated with various Lithuanian pop and electronic music groups. In the past fifteen years or so, as a theatre composer, he has worked extensively with different directors and has also composed music for film. All these practices, in one way or another, intersect in the album Sunny. Bit Windy.

This compilation can be stylistically described as ambient electronic music, we could associate it too with IDM. While most of the tracks seem to reflect the theatrical side of his creative output – as theatre is a place where electronic music thrives – it comes alive here with a whole new character, along with other tracks that underscore his work, interject and contrast one another, and turn them into a consistent entirety.
